The family room, a delightful suite recently renovated, blended modern comfort with charming wooden furnishings that evoked a sense of history. Each morning commenced with a robust breakfast, featuring a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh bread, and homemade marmalade-everything to fuel our daily adventures. Located a mere 5-minute walk from the Frankentherme Baths, we found the thermal baths to be a fantastic family outing. The hotel also offers complimentary bicycles, giving us the chance to explore the scenic surroundings with ease. On one particularly sunny day, we took to the nearby cycling trails, creating wonderful memories together. Our check-in experience was marred by a long, rainy wait with little guidance, which cast a shadow on an otherwise enjoyable stay. Despite this hiccup, Storchen provides an inviting atmosphere and family-friendly amenities that any traveling family would appreciate. I recommend it to those seeking a unique getaway and an authentic taste of local culture.
